"What should we watch tonight?!?" Do you dread that question? Are you overwhelmed by the overabundance of options, but also frustrated by the shortage of quality movies?

There you have the origin of this website. We hope it will be a resource to help your family navigate these increasingly murky waters. There is a treasure-trove of great media out there - you just have to know where to look. Also, how fabulous would it be if someone could benefit from a youth wasted in front of the TV?

How did we choose these movies?
Film can be a powerful way to form the imagination, of both children and adults. So we want to harness its power for good. In our lists, you'll find movies that bring a great character or important historical event to life, or just tell a great story! If a never-ending parade of Marvel-esque CGI shoot-em-ups is what you're after, this may not be the website for you.
It’s just a list with no review?
Unfortunately, at this time we don’t have a review of each movie. Regardless, we hope that the lists themselves will be helpful.
How do we find out more about each movie?
Each movie is linked to its IMDB page. Since your standards for age appropriateness might not be the same as ours, we hope to give you the tools to look the movie over and decide for yourselves if you should show it to your seven year old, or wait until they’re ten. On the IMDB page, there is a parent guide where you can read comments from parents that list any objectionable content in the movie. This is a great tool.

Littles, Middles and Biggles?
The movies in each of our lists are divided into age groups.
Littles: 5/+
Middles: 11/+
Biggles: 15/+
Very Biggles: 17/+

Where can we find these movies?
We're not going to lie; there are some obscure titles on these lists. Many are available to rent on Amazon for under $5, others might be found at your library in the antique section (DVD). We have bought DVDs on eBay for $6 and under and we always keep an eye out at thrift stores. All that to say - you might have to get creative, but it's worth it!
